Immediate containment measures have been implemented, and OIT is working closely with a leading third-party cybersecurity firm to investigate the situation, secure systems, and restore affected services as quickly and safely as possible.

As part of the coordinated response, Alabama Medicaid is working in partnership with OIT and the Office of the Governor to maintain continuity of essential services. While every effort is being made to minimize disruption, temporary interruptions—such as limited access to the Alabama Medicaid website, email, and phone communications—may occur.
