Everyone is invited!
The Alabama Natural Resources Council (ANRC) and the Alabama State Tree Farm Committee are sponsoring three Regional Forestry Events and Field Days for 2014.
These events are being planned by multiple agencies and partners including State and county personnel, the Alabama Forests Forever Foundation, the Alabama State Tree Farm Committee, county forest planning committees. Expert speakers in the field of forest resource management will be on hand to address various topics of interest. See how to manage Alabama's forest for multiple uses. Meet leaders of natural resource agencies.
Each field day will include a tour of a certified TREASURE Forest and/or Tree Farm.
Please consider inviting a colleague from another agency in your county to attend with you. This will be a great way to gain new ideas and see what other county forestry planning committees are doing to promote forestry.
