BIRMINGHAM – The Small Business Administration (SBA) will sign a Strategic Alliance Memorandum (SAM) with the South Region Minority Supplier Development Council (SRMSDC) on Monday, December 10, 2012 as a part of the SRMSDC Economic Development Quarterly Meeting. Cassius Butts, SBA Regional Administrator will be present to sign the agreement. The event is being held in cooperation with the City of Birmingham Office of Economic Development.
The purpose of the SAM is to develop and foster mutual understanding and a working relationship between the SBA and SRMSDC in order to strengthen and expand small business development in the local area. The SAM will remain in effect for two years.
