MONTGOMERY - - Cowboy hats, boots, the smell of ribeye steak sandwiches, and camouflage will take over at a very special event TODAY, October 10th. The Montgomery State Farmer’s Market Pavilion at 1655 Federal Drive will be home of the Beef Day celebration and picnic from 11:00 AM -1:00 PM. Beef Day at the Farmer’s Market will recognize cattle families and honor some of our military heroes in the area.
You are invited to join us for a press conference at 12:00 PM to hear Congressman Martha Roby and Alabama Cattlemen’s Association officials talk about the economic importance of the state’s $2.5 billion beef cattle industry. In addition, you can enjoy a complimentary ribeye steak sandwich lunch provided by hardworking cattlemen from around the area as they continue to celebrate October as Beef Month!
