HUNTSVILLE, Alabama -- The Missile Defense Agency will outline opportunities for smaller companies and discuss how they can pursue them during a Small Business Conference on Tuesday and Wednesday at the Von Braun Center South Hall.
The event is sponsored by the National Defense Industrial Association.
MDA has combined the annual Small Business conference with the annual Small Business Innovative Research conference to provide a "one-stop shopping" opportunity for small firms to learn about MDA programs from program executives.
Among the speakers will be Maj. Gen. Terrence Feehan, program executive for programs and integration; John James, MDA executive director; Richard Matlock, program executive for Advanced Technology; Barney Klehman, director of Acquisition; Lee Rosenberg, director, Office of Small Business Programs; and Doug Deason, director, Advanced Research.
The conference provides opportunities for networking and "matchmaking" sessions to allow companies to team assets or skills for a particular contract or proposal.
Registration is available at www.ndia.org/meetings/2160 or on the day of the event.
