More than 150 jobs are coming to Alexander City thanks to a new manufacturing facility that will supply the Hyundai and Kia automotive plants.

The Lake Martin Area Economic Development Alliance along with Gov. Robert Bentley have announced that C and J Tech Alabama will be moving into a former Russell Corporation plant on the Russell campus.

The plastic injection molding company will hopefully create the jobs by 2013.

Materials produced at the plant will be used at the Hyundai plant in Montgomery, which builds the Sonata and Elantra car models and at the Kia plant in West Point, Georgia, which manufactures the Kia Sorento and Hyundai Santa Fe SUVs.
