The democratic process does not end with a vote in the primary election, nor should it begin with a vote in the General Election in November. There is an opportunity to vote between the two in the July 13th runoff election.
The top Republican races include a statewide runoff for Governor and Commissioner of Agriculture and Industries, while the top Democrat race is for Attorney General.
Some people wait until the general election in November to cast their first vote of the season. But if they do not vote now, they will not have a choice as to who will be on the November ballot.
Exercise your right to vote by going to the polls on Tuesday, July 13th and voting in the runoff.
