 RE:     Change in Cost Reporting Software

The Alabama Medicaid Agency will be transitioning to an Excel-based skilled nursing facility cost report effective  for the June 30, 2024 cost report due September 16, 2024.

An Excel template for the June 30, 2024 cost report is anticipated to be released in July 2024. The electronic submission portal is anticipated to be released in August 2024. Online training dates will be announced.

There will not be substantial changes to the data fields required on the cost report.
