OTCC Proposed Rule - OPEN for Public Comment Period

The Occupational Therapy Licensure Compact Commission (OTCC) is an ongoing nationwide effort to establish interstate licensure by promulgating uniform rules of practice standards. Currently, 28 states, including Alabama, are already compact members with current Legislation enacted to adopt the OTCC rules and regulations.

The OTCC is notifying the public that a comment period is open for a proposed Rule on Federal Bureau of Investigations Criminal Background Checks (FBI CBC).

You are invited to review the proposed Rule on FBI CBC and submit your comments during the public comment period by taking these actionable steps:

Ø  The OTCC proposed Rule notice is posted on the Alabama State Board of Occupational Therapy’s website: www.ot.alabama.gov

Ø  The public comment period will open May 1, 2024, and close May 30, 2024.

Ø  Comments must be received no later than 4:00 PM on May 30, 2024, to be considered by the OTCC.
