The Fort Mims Restoration Association will hold its annual Fort Mims Living History Re-enactment on August 26-27 from 9:00am-3:00pm.
Visitors will enjoy cultural presentations, a speaker’s forum, artifacts on display, and demonstrations such as wool spinning, quilting, archery, and more. There will also be daily re-enactments – Battle of Burnt Corn re-enactment at 11:00 a.m. and Fort Mims re-enactment at 2:00 p.m.
Onsite parking and concessions are available. A shuttle service is provided for offsite parking.

Fort Mims, a historic property of the Alabama Historical Commission, commemorates the Fort Mims battle that took place August 30, 1813. The attack on the Fort is considered a leading cause of the Creek War of 1813-1814. This site is operated by the Fort Mims Restoration Association.
The five acre site of Fort Mims is located 3 miles west on County Road 80, off Hwy 59 in Tensaw in Baldwin County. It is 12 miles north of Stockton.
