The Fort Mims Restoration Association will hold its 30th Anniversary of the Fort Mims Living History Re-enactment on August 27-28 from 9:00am-3:00pm.
Visitors will enjoy cultural presentations, a speaker’s forum, artifacts on display, and demonstrations such as wool spinning, quilting, archery, and more. There will also be daily re-enactments - Burnt Corn re-enactment 11 a.m. and Fort Mims re-enactment at 2 p.m.
Onsite parking and concessions will be available. A shuttle service is provided for offsite parking.
The Fort Mims site commemorates the Fort Mims battle which took place August 30, 1813. The attack on Fort Mims is considered a leading cause of the Creek War of 1813-1814. This site is owned by the Alabama Historical Commission and operated by the Fort Mims Restoration Association.

The five acre site of Fort Mims is located 3 miles west on County Road 80, off Hwy 59 in Tensaw in Baldwin County. It is 12 miles north of Stockton.
