2/9/2010 - Alabama Department of Mental Health Commissioner John Houston and Associate Commissioner for the Division of Mental Illness Services Susan Chambers urge all Alabamians to pay close attention to their mental and emotional health during National Wise Health Care Consumer Month, which is observed annually in the month of February. “It is critically important that we look for changes in our minds and bodies,” said Chambers. “Many studies have indicated that consumers who consult with mental health professionals at the first sign of symptoms and seek treatment early experience greater levels of recovery.”

2/9/2010 - The Alabama Building Commission approved Robotics Technology Park’s Phase 2 architectural drawings on Friday. Phase 2 is an estimated $8.5 million project that will feature a 35,000-square-foot building with an open shop space, labs and classrooms for robotics research and development space. It will have a 53-acre outdoor space with a test track that will be bid separately
