3/5/2026 - Effective April 1, 2026, the Alabama Medicaid Agency (Medicaid) will remove the Dispense as Written (DAW) Code of 9 from Adderall XR, Toujeo, and Xarelto, update the PDL to reflect the quarterly updates, and add Journavx as preferred on the PDL with clinical criteria.

3/4/2026 - Effective February 24, 2026, to enroll as an Alabama Medicaid Applied Behavior Analysis Provider (Provider Type: 17) the service location must be a physical facility. The physical facility must also have visible signage bearing the name of the business.
